Never Received Promotional Gift Card

Back in December 2024, Xfinity ran an internet promotion offering up to a $200 Amazon gift card for new internet sign-ups. I signed up during that promotional window and made sure to meet all of the stated eligibility requirements.

Since then, I have contacted Xfinity support multiple times regarding the gift card. Each time, I was told to wait a few months. Eventually, I was given a support ticket number, but when I check my Xfinity account, no open tickets are shown, and there has been no update or follow-up from their team.

It has now been several months with no resolution. I feel like this is approaching the level of false advertising, and I’m unsure what steps I can take next to either get the gift card or escalate this issue further.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Are there recommended escalation paths? Either within Xfinity or through a consumer protection agency, that could help resolve this?

Hello @Mekayla21, I hope the day has been treating you well! When you signed up with Xfinity do you remember if there was anything about the gift card mentioned in your order summary? When you sign up for a promotion that includes a gift card, the details are also included in your order. Your order summary is also emailed to you, you may be able to locate your order summary to double-check.

@XfinityQuemekia​ Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have a screenshot of the promotion that was showing online at the time, which states " Our gift to you: an Amazon.com gift card, up to $200. Another reason to make merry - get Xfinity Internet at select speeds and enjoy a gift card on us. Online exclusive - ends 12/22. New customers only." I am a new customer and signed up online on 12/21 and picked up the modem from an Xfinity store the same day. I also signed up for the internet speed that was required to qualify.

@Mekayla21 Sounds like you may have selected a promotion that did not include the gift card. I'll be happy to look more into this for you. 

Please send me a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
