Never received notification of scheduled maintenance

Unplanned and not notified of maintenance OUTAGE

I am not too happy with the monopoly game being played with internet customers. I work from home for the City of Seattle and I was never notified of an all day maintenance outage.
My internet has been down all day and I have missed a full day of work because of it. Your lack of notification about the scheduled maintenance has cost me a full days pay. I am expecting a full credit for my internet service montly bill in its entirety as I lost $487.12 for the missed work for today. Had I been informed in advance of this scheduled maintenance I could have gone elsewhere to work but I was never notified about until tody when it happened. Don’t try and give me a $10 - $20 credit because that doesn’t cover what I lost for today and I won’t take it. I plan on going to the FTC about this issue if you try to offer me anything less than a full months credit as you are lucky I’m not asking to have my wages compensated.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Thank you for reaching out to us here. I am sorry to hear about that issue with the planned maintenance. Those scheduled events are normally posted on your Xfinity app ahead of time. We would be able to make adjustments from here for the time without service, there are not any options for full month credits. I can look further into that account for you from here if you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service.

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
