Never able to connect still charged for two months use.

I signed up for comcast internet only 5 weeks ago. I have had multiple technicians out to my house. Finally was told the cable from my house to the box across the street ( all utilities are underground in my neighborhood) is compromised and I will have to pay to have street dug up- and it will be 6 months for work to be done. Now in a long line at the Xfinity store to return equipment and cancel. Wish me luck for no extra cancel fees. Update: they have charged me fees for two months and I never was able to use the service
