Network not available

When I try to dial in or out it says network is not available. I have Wi-Fi and then I have this phone and my now TV is working with the internet but my phone keeps on saying network not available

Hello user_02ithg! Thanks for posting on our XFINITY Community Forum. It is never an ideal situation when your phone is not working at any time of the day. Not to worry! You have reached the right team, more than happy to help you get back on track with using your phone once again! 
Just to clarify, are you experiencing this issue with XFINITY Voice service or XFINITY Mobile phone service? If it is for the landline phone, could you please check if the modem has the Ethernet cord connected on the back of the modem through the telephone port? There are some instances when you may need to push it in further until you hear a clicking sound if it has become loose over time. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

Internet goes out two or three times a week, then comes back on sometimes half an hour or more

Thank you for the context! So it sounds like you're trying to connect a cell phone to your home Wi-Fi network, but that's when you're running into those connection issues. Is that correct?
