Network Enhancement Impact

I got a message today from Xfinity regarding work being done in my neighborhood starting July 13, and there will be service interruption. I work from home. That’s very short notice (Half a working day) for me to find mitigations for the potential impact on my work. I need to know (1) what the proximity of the impact is, and (2) the duration of the work (from July 13 to when) so I can plan accordingly.

I work from home as well @user_gfvxmi , so I completely understand your concerns, especially given the short notice and the potential impact on your workday. I would recommend checking the Xfinity App, as it will have the same outage and maintenance information that we have access to, including any available details regarding the planned work and service interruptions. Unfortunately, if a specific duration or impact area has not been provided in the notification, we would not have any additional information beyond what is available through the app. I know that's not ideal when you're trying to plan ahead, but the Xfinity App will be the best source for any updates as they become available. We appreciate your patience and understanding while this work is being completed to improve the network. 💙
