Netflix VPN or Proxy

Whenever we try to sign onto the Netflix on the TV if will not let us watch and gives us a common error "you are on a vpn or proxy". How do we fix this in order to use the service. (not on a vpn or proxy)

user_2vs96d thanks so much for reaching out here via our Xfinity Forums! How are we signing into Netflix? You said on the TV, but is this via a Smart TV menu, on a streaming device like Roku or Apple TV, or via the X1 cable box?

It is via a Fire stick currently

Both the Smart tv itself and the fire stick show the same error message.

No just Netflix. I think it's the only one that cares about a vpn/proxy
