Neighborhood outage not recognized by Comcast

My internet service has been completely down for 36 hours so far. Orange blinking light on my XB8. My neighbors are also down, yet Comcast does not recognize that there is an outage anywhere in my area. Earliest appointment they can give me is 3 days from now.  What can I do to alert Comcast that something is going on around here?

I do apologize for the experience with your services being down, and the best route to notify us would be to schedule the appointment. If there is a bunch of visits scheduled for the area, it would trigger our maintenance crews to investigate further. It could be that there is a concern with the connection with you and your neighbors only, so the best route would be to schedule the visit. I would recommend joining the Xfinity Waitlist, and if there is a sooner available appointment, you would be notified. You can find the steps here  on how to sign up for the waitlist.
