Need XG1v4 boxes
I recently upgraded my TV plan and need two wired XG1v4 boxes. When I called customer service they said they would be delivered. Today I received two Xi6 boxes which are only wireless and not compatible with my router. I’ve read that posting and direct messaging support may help get the needed equipment.

For anyone else that may come across this post. Wait for Xfinity to respond before trying the steps they provided.
After almost a month of trying to get XG1 boxes, they are no longer available. If you want 4K content, you have to use wireless Xi6 boxes, so keep this in mind.
I also want to share that Xfinity customer service is excellent. Everyone I worked with in trying to get wired equipment that supports 4K was friendly and tried what they could. It would have been helpful for customers and staff to know upfront that XG1 boxes are no longer available.
