Need to relocate coax outlet

I need my one, working coax outlet moved to another room in the house. Is that a service I need to pay for and how much if so?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hey there, @user_71322dz! Great question. Our technicians will not install new coaxial outlets within walls, but can sometimes extend a coax line into another room (i.e. along the outside of a baseboard, around corners, etc.). If you want a new outlet installed with internal wiring and a wall plate, I recommend contacting a local contractor and/or technician. Please let me know if this helps!

@XfinitySara They won't run a line outside anymore from the main incoming line? Running a line inside the residence would require almost 100 ft of line through 3 different rooms. Is this why there is no installation option any longer when signing up for service?

Given the situation you are presenting, our techs would not be able to do the work. That is why we recommended a contractor at this point.
