Need to move a router 20 feet away.
I want to move my router and NAS to the other end of my living room, and there’s no coax outlet there. Can I book an Xfinity tech to come out and run the cable along the baseboard? I’m terrible at this kind of stuff. If so, do they do it for free or charge a flat fee/by the hour?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_neinf7 I appreciate you reaching out to us via Forums to get this installation question answered. This sounds more like "new" installation order that does generate a $100 service fee. Our technicians install a new outlet by running a cable along the outside of the house, drilling through an exterior wall, and mounting a wall plate inside. They do not perform "wall fishing" to hide wires inside interior walls. You will need to discuss this option to run the line along the baseboard to see if it's something he/she agrees to do.
