Need to know if I have a POE filter on my cable connection already on my property
Just moved into a condo and I don't have access to the cable infrastructure to see if I have a POE filter on my cables for a MOCA setup. Can someone at Comcast tell me? And if not, I want to get a POE filter installed.

Hello, @user_61694e, I get how important it is to confirm the equipment that is at your property and making sure your service is all that it should be. I don't have a way to determine if a POE filter is already installed on my end, that would be something only a tech could figure out. Typically, as long as the home has had X1 service in the past, a tech would have installed that. Are you having any issues with your service?

I don't know when cables were installed here since I just moved in. Can I get a tech to drop by and check? The last thing I want to do is set up a MOCA connection only to find out my signal is unsecure and leaking to my neighbors. Unless there's a way to do it through my modem or service? I could do it all myself if I even knew where the connection began to my home, but seeing as I live in a condo it's not that easy for me.
