Need the cable to my house buried

We are still waiting for the cable to my house to be buried. Why is it so hard to get any type of response or help from Xfinity?

Good evening @ndoak1! Thank you for reaching out on our Community Forum! We can understand how frustrating it would be to be waiting for an update on your cable burial request.

To help us better understand the situation, how long has it been since the temporary line was installed or since the burial request was submitted? In many cases, cable burial can take up to 14 calendar days after our technician submits the request, though timelines can vary.

You can find more information on this process in our article: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/underground-wiring.

Let us know how long you've been waiting, and we'll be happy to help however we can.

Cable to our home was replaced once, and contractor damaged it when burying it, cutting off our service. Cable was replaced again in late June. You should have a record of when the cable was replaced - both times. Contractor came to bury cable June 30. He said internet would be down for 1/2 hour. My wife and I were both on work calls, so he said he would come back at another time. No one has come to bury the cable since June 30. We got a message on July 1 that the cable had been buried. I stated that issue in this forum on July 2. An Xfinity tech who had helped with the initial repair came out after that post, saw that the cable was not buried, and said he would make another request for burial. Here we are a month later - cable still above ground.
