Need service down my street

Comcast internet lines are on the street my street is connected to. But it’s not down my road. There are 9 house on our road. I’ve called Comcast to ask if we can have service brought to us but the CSR told me she couldn’t create a ticket for it. When I asked what that meant she didn’t really have a reason other than it would cost too much and so Comcast won’t even give us an option of service. But someone told me if I get 2 other homes to say they want service then Comcast has in their policies that they will run a wire to us for free. Is that true?

@user_979094 I apologize for the experience. We can definitely submit a serviceability request or search to see if one is in place and what the findings are. Thank you to our expert @EG for helping us get to this post sooner!

@user_979094 Please send us a direct message with your full name and your service address.

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3kajO4e
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
  •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
  •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

See https://comca.st/2XfS9FQ for an example.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to actual Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
