Need refresh to link new ID

My Xfinity Reddit forum user name is [Edited: "Personal Information"], but I didn't have a chance to sign in.

My Xfinity ID is [Edited: "Personal Information"]

Phone number is [Edited: "Personal Information"]

Service address: [Edited: "Personal Information"]

PROBLEM: New service not being recognized; cannot activate; msgs keep saying I'm no longer with Xfinity.

I returned my old equipment to the installer, who wouldn't give me a receipt but he let me take his photo holding it as he stood halfway out my door. He assured me everything was installed, including a Premium Price Discount (for a specified period) and free Paramount+ (for a specified period).

SOLUTION? I think what I need is an Xfinity person to manually refresh/link me, my account info, and the equipment in the locked wall cabinet in my apt. so that current service can be activated, including the incentives.

2. I have received a bill but haven't been able to activate the service, so I would like a credit. I have been told the account number on the bill dated Oct. 3 may not be the new one.

3. I want my payment for the rented equipment (that I had to make to get an installer to visit) to be acknowledged as well as my return of that equipment the day the installer finally finished the order (after weeks of confusion over connection issues in the Ovation Apartments building in. Everett, the subject of a post on the Xfinity Reddit portal).

4. The notes should show that an installation fee was waived long ago by an Xfinity Expeditor. I would like that to be honored and for my first day of billable service to be whenever it is activated.

Thank you!!!!  🙂

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_vjqc1n Thank you for reaching out and allowing our team the opportunity to assist with your service activation issue. Our same team operates r/Comcast_Xfinity's subreddit and would not need multiple interactions regarding the same situation to avoid duplicate processes and tickets. Have you been connected with one of our teammates on that platform? If not, please send me a DM with your first and last name along with your full-service address, we can get started from this platform.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon in the top right corner

Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
