Need old utility pole removed that has xfinity lines attatched. I have two poles in my backyard now!!!! Please asap
Hello, dte installed a new pole in my backyard because the old one broke at the base because of weather conditions and they said its now xfinity pole they need to transfer and remove the old pole to new one and remove the old pole, and i have been waiting for more than 6 months to have this done.
Please please send someone out to remove the old pole and do the transfer .. My backyard has 3 poles there now and its a hazard for my children to be in there ...what is the number i should contact for this? I have been unsuccessful in trying to find someone to come and do this..it seems like this is never a priority to get this done with the company...i've been a customer for over 15 years at 3+ addresses and use business service with them...this is ridiculous..please come out and remove it..dte says they have reached out and told xfinity and its out of their hands now!!! I am no expert here but to my knowledge Xfinity is a joint user of poles placed by other utilities. I doubt that the pole in your yard was placed by Xfinity so they are assuming no accountability for the removal. At best they will transfer their service to the remaining pole. I have always found that the "Construction" side of Xfinity is very hit or miss. They show up when they want to and Xfinity seems to have little control over them. If they are not going to do the work they could at least tell you on day one.
