Need new dealice

I love the Xfinity and have been with them since 1986. We have Internet, Cable, and 3 lines of Mobile. I bought my own Router/Modem to save a few bucks but with recent increases to both services the rate is higher than when I was paying to rent my router/modem from Xfinity.  My wife and I are close to 80 years old and no longer work. Is there a plan for Seniors. I apologize and I tried to change plans on line but when I reduced my internet speed from 500 mbps to 300 mbps my bill went up instead of down. I got on chat and all the lady said is if I changed my plan with 5 months left on my current contract I would owe $230 for breach of contract.  I was going to keep Mobile Service and go with a cheap Internet and Streaming Service to save $100 a month but I was told my Mobile Service would go up $25 each for the 3 lines for a total increase of $75 total.

Is there no senior plan with Xfinity for people trying to live on Social Security.  Also my phone is an Iphone 11 and the screen goes black half the time I'm talking so is there any phone discounts without adding a new line. Any help is truly appreciated.

Terry0327 Hi there! First and foremost we appreciate you as a long time customer and are glad that you reached out so that we could review your options for lowering your monthly cost. We do offer a service for our fixed low income customers, you can apply for our internet essentials service here https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/internet-essentials.

Now as far as your Xfinity Mobile services goes, if you were currently getting a discounted rate due to the promotion it is possible that a line charge applies if you opt into a new offer. We would be able to check on that for you as well as any options to get you a new device.
