Need Immediate Attention

I am requesting an immediate escalation regarding an unresolved service outage and a missed technician appointment.

Our Comcast/Xfinity service has been out since Wednesday. We had a confirmed technician appointment yesterday between 5:00–7:00 p.m. We confirmed the appointment and subsequently received a notification stating that the technician was on the way.

The technician never arrived at our home.

We were then notified that we had failed to respond to the technician. That is incorrect. We were available during the scheduled appointment window, had confirmed the appointment, and were expecting the technician based on the “on the way” notification. No technician ever showed up.

I would like this escalated and am requesting:

• An expedited technician appointment to restore our service
• A review of the technician’s records, including the dispatch/arrival history and attempted contact associated with the appointment
• Correction of the account record so it does not indicate that we failed to respond or missed the appointment
• An appropriate service credit for the outage beginning Wednesday
• Consideration of an additional credit for the missed technician appointment and inconvenience
• A case/escalation number and confirmation of the resolution

We have made every reasonable effort to be available and cooperate with the repair process. At this point, the service remains out because a confirmed Comcast repair appointment was not completed.

Please have a supervisor or Executive Customer Relations representative contact us as soon as possible.

Thank you,
Tim

user_bzumj4 Good morning! Thank you for reaching out to our Xfinity Forums Team, and bringing your concerns to our attention. I'd be happy to review your account, and see what happened; along with assisting you in getting a new appointment. To begin, please send a Direct Message with your name and service address.

1-Click "Sign In" if necessary.

2-Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.

3-Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.

4-In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".

5-As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

6-An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

7-Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

8-Press Enter to send it.

I talked to support yesterday, the gentlemen did all he could. I need someone out to repair the cable today, not next week. Your tech that was supposed to be here yesterday deceptively said he was here and wasn’t. Unequivocally unacceptable…need a tech today.

user_bzumj4 I can fully understand needing a tech as soon as possible when services are down, and I'm happy to check for a sooner one. Have you set yourself up on the "waitlist" at this time to get a notification should someone cancel, and a window open up you can book? I'll need a Direct message with the account information to review if we have anything sooner for you, and we shared the steps above on how to send us a Direct message to assist you further.
