Need help opening an Account Ownership Transfer ticket.

Hello, the automated chat assistant is not working for me. I am trying to transfer my account ownership to a new person, but I cannot see the Direct Message icon to chat with an agent. Could an official employee please reply so I can DM you my private info?

Hi @GLox337 we can help with your request here. Usually you will need to create your public post first, like this. and then if the issue requires exchange of account information etc. we will ask you to Direct message us and the option should be available after your first post. If you still do not see it you may need to log out of Xfinity Forums and back in.

To send us a direct message: 

 

  • Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
