Need help getting Peacock to work with my Xfinity preferred email

I need some sort of reset or something to occur that will make my diamond level perk work with my gmail address.  My Comcast account has “[Edited: "Personal Information"]@comcast.net” as my Comcast email address.  That email address was deleted/disabled last year due to inactivity.  I use a gmail address primarily and it’s set as my preferred email in my Comcast account profile.  I couldn’t get the Peacock link to work and ended up on the phone with Comcast technical support for several hours. They insisted that I use my “@comcast.net” address when setting up the Peacock account.  So I did that and setup an account with peacock.  But the comcast side never happened and I’ve been billed by Peacock for the last two months of service.

I have worked with Peacock support and I have a Peacock account the uses my gmail address for login.  The Xfinity app says I have already activated my Peacock app but that was probably with that disabled email.  How can I activate my Peacock subscription using my gmail address on the Xfinity side?

Thanks for working with our team to get Peacock linked to the correct email address, @user_of18a6! Our community will always get your concerns resolved and is a great resource. The Xfinity app also has different aspects of your account at your fingertips to make things as easy as possible. 

 

For community knowledge, we were able the email switched with the forgot/change email troubleshooting steps shown on our Activate Peacock Premium article, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/peacock-premium-offers.

 

In some instances, Peacock may already an active status. If your Peacock subscription is active, but you’d like to change your email address associated with your Peacock subscription or forgot your email address, you can:

  1. Go to the StreamStore through xfinity.com/yoursubscriptions.
  2. Click Help & more info and click Unlink Peacock account

After clicking Unlink Peacock:

  1. You’ll have to confirm the Peacock account you want to use.
  2. Select No, please use another account to use a different email.
  3. Enter the email you’d like to use.
  4. Select Continue then sign in and activate your subscription.

Note: If you already have a paid Peacock subscription, you may need to manage your existing subscription to avoid multiple active subscriptions and corresponding charges. For instructions on canceling your existing subscription, see peacocktv.com/help/article/cancellation.
