Need help applying SheerID Student Discount

I have my SheerID approval email, but the website keeps looping and won't let me apply the student rate to my existing account. I need an agent to help me manually switch my plan.

The Xfinity website doesn't show the $40 student discount option when I click the link from the SheerID email. I am in an Incognito window now, but the site is asking me to confirm the existing account at my address. I know these student deals are sometimes labeled for 'new customers,' but as a doctoral student, I’m looking to transition my current account to the student rate rather than opening a second one at the same address. Can you help me apply this manually so I don't accidentally mess up my billing?

@mw1093 Are you able to confirm the existing account? It sounds like the error with the looping may have been resolved by the incognito window. Are you receiving a specifc error?
