Need escalation to remove charges from a duplicate account

Hello, I'm writing in the hopes that I can escalate this matter and not have to take any further action and posting this so I have a written record of my concerns.

When I moved in April, I was chatting with xfinity to set up an account at my new address. For some reason the account they helped me set up didn't work so they told me I had to call customer service. I did and apparently instead of fixing the issues with the account already set up they just set up a new duplicate account at the same address.

I was billed twice. I tried calling customer service and the first two times they denied the fact that there was a second account. Then finally the third time I called someone told me about the duplicate account. I was told it would be fixed and it was not. I called again a month later, was told it would be resolved, it was not. It still says I owe money on the duplicate account. I called again today--was told it would be resolved but we had to open a ticket. Got no email that there was a ticket opened, logged into my account it said there are no tickets?

The amount of time and energy I've put into resolving xfinity's mistake, when it should be a quick fix is wild. I am hoping someone sees this and it gets escalated to someone who can actually resolve my issue. I will soon be making more formal complaints to get this escalated and resolved.

ajswa That is a mess, and I do not blame you for being frustrated. We are able to help with the disconnect and billing for you, but I do need to get your information in private.  If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. Click "Sign In" (If necessary). Click the "Direct Messaging" Icon. Click the "Start New Conversation" (pencil and paper) icon. In the “To:” line, type "Xfinity Support". As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window. Press Enter to send it. How to: Direct Message Within The Forum.
