NEED CONSTRUCTION CREW - CABLE SAFETY HAZARD IN BACKYARD

For 2 months, there is a serious safety hazard in our home’s backyard after a local tree cutting company (not hired by us) knocked down an XFinity hanging cable that is strung up between two poles. Now this cable is laying across our fence line/hovering in our backyard very low to the point where we cannot access or use a big portion of our backyard because it is a safety hazard. I’ve called XFinity support at least 20 times now, and every time they create a new ticket but it’s a service ticket so the individual who shows up is not able to help. We need your construction team at our property ASAP. This is ridiculous and if we were to be harmed by this cable, the fault would be on your company! We’ve been dealing with this for over 2 months now. Please get in contact with me immediately to schedule your construction crew/team to come fix this issue ASAP.

@user_bearzzz

Thanks for reaching out. As a homeowner myself, I understand how concerning it would be to have a hazardous cable line on your property.

Since you’ve already contacted us a few times and the issue still hasn’t been resolved, we’ll need to take a closer look at your account. To protect your privacy, we’ll gather that information through a direct message rather than over social media.

To get started, please send me a direct message with your first and last name and complete service address.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"

As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

Press Enter to send it.
