Hello, @user_a2e4db. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I know how unsightly having an exposed line can be, along with other uncertainties. You have reached the right team for help with all your Xifnity needs. Cable lines may be underground or above ground and normally follow the same path as the utility service lines to your home. A drop bury can take a few weeks to get completed as outlined here.
I will be happy to start the request. To begin, at your leisure, send me a Private Message.
To send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
