Need a technician home visit - phone jack
In Edgartown, MA, we have a phone jack that is not working and may not have been activated when the room was remodeled. I've tried all the troubleshooting on line with no success. I want to schedule a technician visit to make the jack operable. Thank you, Iris

Hello user_ecqsqj, thank you for joining us here in our Xfinity Community forum. We are happy to help you with your concern. Just to clarify, you are asking to have a phone outlet working? Do you have your modem plugged into a cable out let and a phone outlet? If not, please try running a phone cable from your modem to the phone outlet, while it is also plugged into the cable outlet. If it works, then we should be all set, if not, we will have to do some digging, as we do not normally service phone outlets. The whole process can get really involved, and quite honestly, confusing, so rest assured, we will work with you to find a solution for you.
