Need a Replacement Modem

Hello,

I believe my modem might be going out. I unplugged it and when I went to plug it back in, it would not turn on; no lights on the back either. I used a DMM (digital multimeter) and confirmed that the cable was seeing 124V and that the outlet was also producing 124V, so it is not the cable. I also checked isolation and the sockets in the cable were OL with a DMM resolution of 2 MOhms and the pins on the modem were 1.2 MOhms, so they should be isolated from each other, which makes me think that there's a problem with the internal power board of the modem.

What do I need to do to get a replacement?

Thank you so much!!

jjon784 Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. Awesome troubleshooting by the way! You have two options if you are looking to replace your Xfinity modem, you can visit your local service cente rand they will be able to hook you up, or we can ship one to you. Shipping is 3-5 business days though, so it might be quicker to go into the service center if you are completely without service. If you prefer having us ship one, please send us a DM to Xfinity Support and our team would be happy to assist you!

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
