Need a contact for info

My monthly cost continues to increase exceeding my budget. I recently contacted  Xfinity to discuss options and costs. I made it clear at the onset what information I needed. After  40 minutes the Xfinity representative stated they were in Sales  and could not provide me with costs. They also offered I switch to Comcast mobile services - I have them, and were proceeding to disconnect my cable, which drew a very stern “NO” from me, and advised I would need to contact another to disconnect my landline, yet another “NO.” It is odd that Sales  cannot give me costs, but they can disconnect my services. And to my surprise I was told I do not have Internet, which I do. Since the Xfinity representative could not help me, I  asked who do I contact to have a discussion.  I was provided a phone number which actually is the contact number for SAMSUNG. Two years ago, my contact with Xfinity advised if I switched my mobile device from Verizon to Comcast, I would be afforded a reasonable monthly cost for my home services. The mobile phone was changed, but the reasonable monthly cost for  my home services never came to fruition. I called again and was told tough luck, but nicely. An employee at a Comcast store said representatives make such promises to get customers to switch their mobile phones. I believe it. So please advise to who do I need direct my questions to actually receive accurate answers? Thanks.
