My Xfinity visa gift card doesn't work

Got the card back in April, and I tried to use it through online such as Walmart and Costco. Neither did work.

Could someone help me use this? I already activated the card and can check balance through www.mycardintel.com/xfinity.

Hello, @user_7541ca. Thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums support. I appreciate the information you have provided, it is helpful. Investigating, I did find that Visa prepaid cards do expire 180 days from the date they are issued: https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/support/article/faqs-visa-prepaid-card-offers. Based on the time frame you provided, it looks like you should be within the 180-day time frame if you received it in April. 

 

When you have attempted to use it, did you receive any specific reasons for it not working or being declined?

Have you tried to call the number on the back of the card?

Thank you for that information. When you contact to check on the card balance, is the system reflecting a current balance on there? When you go to make the purchases, are you entering an expiration date and 3 digit code located on the card?

@XfinityJustinC​ Yes. When I purchase an item, the balance immediately reflects it. And I enter expire date and CVV as well when I make a purchase.
