My Xfinity Gateway shipped early

I set up a delayed shipment on the Xfinity Gateway so that it would arrive on my move-in day and I just received a notification that it's out for delivery 10 days before I'll even be in the same town as where it's being shipped. Is Xfinity going to send me another one if (when) it gets stolen off the front porch?

Greetings, @DrewCW! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about your unexpected early equipment shipping. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

 

We will definitely make sure this gets taken care of for you. For future reference, or for the benefit of anyone who happens to see this post down the road, it is usually helpful to set up future-dated orders with an in-store equipment pick-up, at least to begin with. You can always go back to the order and change it from in-store to shipping when you're ready for the equipment to go out.

 

In this situation, since the equipment has already been shipped, we will just need to keep an eye on it and see if the equipment gets delivered or sent back to us. If necessary, we can always send a replacement out when the time comes.
