My Xfinity account as public WiFi for X Box and TV

Hello @Jason_rance_80, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum. All Xfinity modems offer a private WiFi connection and a public (xfinitywifi) connection. Both require that you access WiFi with some type of password. This ensures the security of your home network, the security of the modem, and the security of our larger Internet network. At this time, there is no way to fully disable the WiFi passwords. The good news is that most devices will automatically remember the password for a WiFi signal once it has been inputted, and unless the WiFi password has been modified, it will continue to automatically connect you to that WiFi network. If needed, you can modify your WiFi password to make it easier to remember and input with your connected devices.
