My service is garbage
We had a power outage due to a fire. Power has been restored and my modem appears to have taken a dirt nap. The best I can get is a service call on Sunday, that I may have to pay for your questionable equipment. Seriously as soon as TDS lays its line I’m going to do my best to encourage our neighbors to switch. Our small housing area hold 12,000 families. We do all speak

Good evening, @user_puc8fj! I am sorry to hear that your modem has not been working since the power was restored. We are glad that you are safe and well with the fire so close to your home. Once your visit is set up, you can view your visit and available appointment times in the Xfinity app. We have an appointment waitlist that you can also sign up for, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/appointment-waitlist. If a sooner time becomes available, you will get a communication asking if you would like that time instead. For the trouble call visit cost. We do not charge when the root cause is Xfinity owned equipment or wiring. If our modem is not working since the power interruption, that would be a problem with our equipment so you would not be charged for that. Same thing if anything happened to the outside wiring. Did you get your visit set up or do you need assistance doing that?
