My new residential address is listed as a business location in xfinity system

How do I change my new residential address from business address to residential address ?

Hello @user_3d62a7 Thank you for reaching out through our forum. You would need to reach out to our Business department directly at 1-800-391-3000 to request the cancellation of the business account. After this is completed we can assist with setting up the new residential account.

Once the cancellation request is completed on the business side, Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

@XfinityStephanieT​ i dont want to cancel account. My existing account / address is non-business.

when i look to schedule a move , it says new address is business which is incorrect
