My neighbor's XFINITY internet working but not mines

Hey everyone, my neighbor 5 houses down has internet for a few days now after hurricane Beryl in Houston. We still don't have internet even though we have the same plan. Is this possible? We have bought new routers and modems and haven't had much luck. The modem lights all green solid but the router has orange for the internet. We also get the outage alert on the xfinity website. I wanted to make sure there were other trouble shoots we can do besides restarting the modem and router. Thanks! I haven't been able to reach customer service so this has been a little unfortunate.

warrenrules You have come to the right place for help, and we would be happy to look into why your service is out while someone else so close is working. I appreicate you doing some basic troubleshooting ahead of time, and I'll be happy to do a little more with you!

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
