My internet was “voluntarily deactivated” late last night without a request to do so.
Woke up to an internet outage this morning. On the phone, xfinity told me it was voluntarily deactivated, but neither me nor my wife requested it. We are the only two living in the home. My guess is a neighbor put on a request with their own name and account number, but my address and xfinity did not check before deactivating my addresses internet. Does this sound probable? How do I prevent this from happening in the future?
