Multiple Service Outages

For the past two days I have had serval outages of No Internet/ No TV/ No OanDemand! States at 6:45 am on 4/4/23 and lasted til 8:00am. Then goes out at 7:45 pm on 4/4/23 and does not come back on till 6am on 4/5/23. Now it goes out again at 11:17pm with a project fis of 12:35 am on 4/6/23! I just finished restring the smart TVs when I go home, because I had to re authenicate each on due to them being off line so long. I have a family member with a develmental disability and being able to watch their favorite movie as a part of their routine. Yesterday outage threw a wrench in their routine. It was a lot to get them to be calm and stick to their schedule. I cannot stress enough how dissruptive a small change in their routine can be. There is no information on the site or the app to explain what is happening or why the service is going out. You can get a lhuman on the phone. The text alerts are a joke as they only text you after the service is back on, which you already know at that point. It would be nice if that can say or the fix time has change to X so people can have maneged expectation. I had AT&T internet from 2005 till 2022 and can count on one hand the number of service Outages I had and still have fingers left. From DSL to Fiber it was a steady reliable service. I only left when Xfinity would not let us upgrade from Comcast (cable only) to Xfinity without the internet service. I was passing the same price for cable only the others pay wor an entire bundle.And because of the family member who need the familiar access to their favorite movie a cancelled with AT&T and signed up for. The X-1 platform. The X-1 platform is not worth it. I made the wormhole choice and I regret it daily.

We do apologize for any inconvenience, as a customer with two teenager & handful of grandchildren, I rely on stable working connection.

 

 The service interruptions can be unplanned due to weather related issues, accidents or fault equipment & wiring at our nodes & plants or even planned maintenance, once those happened our awesome techs are working as fast as possible to get everyone in the area back up & running as soon as possible.

 

 The information listed on the awesome xfinity app https://www.xfinity.com/apps  is coded for our highly trained technicians that are working to resolve the issues as fast as possible. I have had similar issues in my area and at time I have been able to connect to the internet via the awesome xfinity hotspots without even leaving my home, even at times I been able to stream my tv services via the xfinity streaming app until my services were back on.

 

We never expect you to pay for services you cannot use due service interruptions,  therefore we have a self-service link that you can obtain a credit for the downtime once the service is back up and running just visits xfinity.com/support/status and clicks the link, Check eligibility in the Tips in case of an outage section at the bottom of the page.
