Multiple Accounts, One Phone Number

I have multiple accounts with Xfinity.  But I only have one mobile phone.  Each account keeps pestering me to enter a mobile phone number to better secure my account; but Xfinity only allows one unique phone number per account.  So this security feature is worthless to me.  Is there any workaround to this problem?  Why doesn't Xfinity understand that their policy actually reduces, not increases, security?  And yes, I've complained several times.

Hello, Henri_Blanche! Welcome to the Xfinity Forums. 

As someone who only uses a single phone number, I absolutely understand the inconvenience this can causes. This feature is in place however to help ensure customer security in a variety of ways as well as enabling us to provide more timely support.

Hi @Henri_Blanche,

 

You can follow this guide so you have one Xfinity ID (including your mobile, which is a part of that Xfinity ID) linked across your two accounts so you won't be prompted to add your mobile phone number.
