I am moving out of state and the new place has 2 different Netgear things, can I just transfer? Plus when I put my new info in my lot number is 111 but online says 112 and it won’t let me get any further.

Hello, @user_y2tsnx
When moving out of state with Xfinity, you cannot transfer your existing equipment. Professional installation is required for your Xfinity Home equipment at the new address. You may keep your home phone number if moving within the same area code, but not if changing area codes. Service fees, taxes, and channel lineups may differ at the new location. Ensure to schedule your installation and bring all necessary equipment, including power adapters and sensors.
For more details see:
My team and I can assist with your transfer of service. Send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:
1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon
2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)
4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!
