Moving

I am moving apartments and wanted to transfer my wifi. I was told by an xfinity representative that where i am moving to i won’t be able to transfer my services. Is there any way i can get it transferred? I asked my landlord and they said to try comcast but that’s the same thing so i’m a bit confused.
