Moving to a second home while keep first home's service for awhile

Hi there, how can I add xfinity internet service to a second home on my account, and not schedule the termination of my current home's service? It's b/c I bought a house recently and I want to add internet service to it while it's being remodeled.

Thanks,

Yi

Hello, we are not able to have two service address under one account. You could open a new account at the new address if you like, however, they will not be linked or combined.

Thanks for the reply. If I start the a separate service under another account at my new home, when I move into new home, can I choose to stop the (old) service which is under a 12mon contract?

Great question, @yih112

The way it would be done is that the new location would have a temporary internet account. This temporary account you would want setup with normal pricing, no promotional rate so there is no commitment. Once the new location is ready to move in, you would then just disconnect the temporary account and transfer your primary residence account to that location, avoiding that ETF you mentioned.
