Moving services to new address
I’ve had wifi with Xfinity at my current address just over a year, and I’m moving next month. I was going through, expecting that we would be able to self install, but there’s only options to pay a technician. We didn’t pay for a technician to install the first time, so I know we don’t need one and it’s very simple to install what we currently have. Is there not an option to move without having someone come over and paying the installation fee?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @user_4783c5 , thank you for reaching out to our great team through Xfinity community forums. I'm happy to review your new location to see what is going on. I know I would be reaching out as well to find out what is going on.
Congratulations on the move, by the way! I know moving can be exciting and stressful all in one. I hope yours is the more exciting one.
Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
