Moving. How to have service at two addresses?
Hi,
My husband and I are moving about 2 hours away. He will be relocating to our new place this week but I will stay behind for a few more weeks at our old place until I transfer jobs. How can we keep service at both places for a few weeks? Will it cost more? If so, is it possible to keep cable at one place and move the Internet service then when I move transfer the cable as well? Thanks!

@Birdie344 Thank you so much for reaching out for help with moving your services to your new location! We have a super easy-to-use Transfer/move page set up! This will let you pick both the end date of services at your old address and your start date at your new address. You can have with this process you can have services for a short time linked at two different addresses. You can also pick what services you need to move and if you want to keep your current equipment! Check out of Move page to get started and look over the FAQs located at the bottom of the page if you have any more questions! https://www.xfinity.com/learn/moving

I used the link you provided, tried to enter the date I need service to stop at my current address (12/25) and the date I need service started at the new address which would be tomorrow but it’s saying I can’t choose a date before my “move” date of 12/25. I’m not getting the option of having my service at two addresses for a few weeks. Please don’t say I have to call the customer service line! EVERY TIME I call it is an absolute nightmare.
Am I doing something wrong with the dates?
