Moved to a new address months ago and switched to using wife's Xfinity account, but my service/charges at the old address never cancelled.

Hello! We moved to a new home in April 2024 and began using my wife's Xfinity account for internet services at the new address (and we're still/currently customers under her account), but the service, which included the add-on for unlimited data, at our old address (that we no longer own) continued to charge the full monthly service charge to our bank account each month despite no one using the service. I've recently been laid off of work and noticed the recurring charges while looking for ways to reduce our monthly costs during my job search. I've since called Xfinity and cancelled/disconnected the internet service for the old address, but is there any way we can please have these monthly charges refunded to our account given that no service was used? Thanks so much for your help in advance!

Good afternoon @user_8r4g0k and thank you for reaching out regarding your refund request. We’re happy to review the account to see if a credit can be applied. Please note that, per our policy, we’re able to issue credits for charges within the past 120 days only.

To get started, please send us a Direct Message with your full name and the service address associated with the disconnected account. Once we have that information, we’ll be glad to take a closer look and assist further.

To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

  • Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
