Move Cables to new utility pole

We are building a new house and do not have service with comcast yet. The utility poles on our property are being moved but the electric company said the old poles will remain until the cable company moves their cables. I had previously put in a ticket but no one has gotten back with me. How do I get someone to come out and move the cable to the new utility pole?

@XfinityRay  I have been trying to have this same issue resolved at my house, about the time this original message was posted. The agent said he understood, but sent a technician to my house, who told me that he was not allowed to do that work, that it would have to be a contractor or engineer. What else can I do?

I understand where some confusion may come in here, @Lansing_user. We can remove and even relocate Comcast cable lines from a pole, however any other cables that are not Comcast specific, we cannot move or even remove from a pole, not can we remove the pole itself.

I will be more than happy to place a specific ticket if you would like to do this though.

Will you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?
