More platinum member peacock issues

Hi,

I am a platinum xfinity member. I received an email that I have access to peacock for free b/c of the platinum status. I looked all over, including on the rewards center and do not see anywhere to activate this free subscription. I reached out through the very annoying Xfinity Assistant who told me everything I already knew. Eventually I got to a representative (that was very difficult). The representative told me I have to have a "next generation" plan and, even though I am a platinum member, I cannot get peacock with my current plan. First question - is this true? Second question - where on the website does it say this? The membership perks listed for platinum members doesn't say anything about having to have a "next-gen" plan.
