Monthly charge increase

I was told by agent that my monthly bill would be 137.36. Now the new monthly charge on current bill is $165.75. This is unacceptable. I changed providers because I was assured that charges including taxes would be $137.36. I need your help to see how charges can be reduced.

I reached out to Xfinity. The agents were very helpful by explaining the charges and helped me to resolve the issue. Thanks to Xfinity.

I got a message that my account will be increased. It is only 3 months since 9/14/2020 I agreed to a 2 year contract for a fixed price for 12 month and after 12 months it will increase. You mean to tell me 3 months ago Xfinity did not know of this increase! Xfinity is in breach of the contract we agreed on. This is disgraceful for a business to use this kind of tactics!

Fees, taxes and surcharges are not part of your plan.  That means that equipment fee, and the Broadcast and Regional Sports Network fees all are subject to go up.  Xfinity is not in breach of contract.  They can raise the prices on those at any time.  It's in the Terms of Service that you agreed to when you started.
