Monroe Outage Since 07/03/2026
We had a large storm hit on 07/03/2026, resulting in the city losing most of its power and, as a result, internet. I assumed that since this occurred right before the 4th of July, and that power would need to be restored first, it would take over the weekend to fix the internet. It is now almost five days without internet connection and the power has been restored in the city since early yesterday. Whenever I call or try to chat with assistant, it goes to AI and an automatic, repetitive response that I’ve heard since July 3rd (“we’ll fix as soon as possible”) with no update or progress… add on the fact that people who live a block away have had their internet restored fully a day ago (07/06/26) AND we live close to a hospital, that certainly has internet, this whole situation has become extremely frustrating. For a hundred dollars a month, I’d expect at the very least better communication.

@user_bm3pu1 Thank you for making us aware that you're still experiencing a service interruption even after your power was restored. Have you by any chance tried using the Xfinity app to see if there's an ETA on there?
