Hello, @user_3f2am1 thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. You've contacted the right place for support, and understand wanting to have the most up to date Xfinity equipment.
For our customers who aren't on our X-class symmetrical download and upload speeds, the XB8 is the most up-to-date model for customers who receive 35 - 250 MBPS upload speeds. You can view a photo of what each modem looks like here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/broadband-gateways-userguides
- Do you currently receive symmetrical upload and download speeds? - Do you know the model of your current Xfinity gateway?
