Modem Towers
Do modems towers go bad? Everything was working fine when I left home yesterday but when I returned no internet. I have followed all the instructions(many times) to reestablish connectivity, to no avail. There are no lights coming when tower is plugged in. The electrical outlet is functional with all other devices. Its really an inconvenience to have to wait until next Thursday before tech support can come to my house. This isn’t timely customer service in today’s work/home environment.,

Based on what you've described, it sounds like your services may have been impacted by a service interruption. Have you had an opportunity to check the Xfinity app or the Status Center to see if there's a known interruption affecting your address? It's a quick and convenient way to check your account status. If no interruption is reported, both tools also provide troubleshooting steps that may help resolve the issue.
I also wanted to share information about our Appointment Waitlist feature. This option allows you to select a preferred appointment time and be notified if an earlier timeslot becomes available. It's a great tool if the available appointment doesn't fit your schedule or if you're hoping to be seen sooner.

Perhaps it's malfunctioning. Taking it to your local Xfinity store to be swapped out for another would be the fastest option, or ship it back for free via UPS and have them ship you another one. You can even get *home pickup*.
