Modem pick up at Xfinity store

Hello,

I am moving soon, and have started a new Internet plan with Xfinity. I’m also renting a modem (getting started kit?), which is currently set to be delivered to my new address. 

Is it possible to cancel this shipment and pick the modem/kit up at an Xfinity store instead? This would be much more convenient due to moving logistics. 

If yes, can I pick the equipment up at an Xfinity store anytime that it’s open? My local one is open on Sundays, and I want to make sure I can come in then without making any appointment.

However, you pick up the Gateway at an Xfinity Store near you. You can set an appointment for a faster checkout process or do a walk-in. We can look at the order and take it from there.
