Mobile Plan Activated Without My Permission

I went by an Xfinity store today to pick up the gateway for the internet.  The person helping me asked if I knew about the Mobile plan included with my internet plan, and I told them I wasn't interested in activating it right now.  I left the store and a while later, when I checked my email, I saw that I had a receipt for a purchase of an iPhone 11 and that the mobile plan had been activated.  I did not want this and am very confused on why it happened.  I finally was able to get someone on the phone and they cancelled the SIM, but does that mean the mobile plan is no longer available to me?  I don't want to be charged for the activation when I don't even own the phone that was supposedly activated.

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "direct messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
