Missing outdoor junction box

When I first moved in, there was no junction box between my house and the cable coming out of ground. These cables are connected, yet covered only with a thin rubber cover and completely exposed to elements. I thought it was normal only to realize that all my neighbors have a plastic box covering it. Please come and install a junction box. Thank you.

PS... I've tried to ask this question to Xfinity Assistant and it was an absolute nightmare. Please update or remove this annoying chat(?)bot.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!

I got a text from Xfinity Assistant this morning that my ticket ECM0012561823 is successfully completed. However, when I got home, there was no work done and no explanation on the ticket. Could you check this please?

I have a broken outdoor junction box that needs to be replaced. This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had! I got a reply telling me to send a direct message, but I couldn’t find the direct message icon. How about a link instead of a 5 step instruction!

   Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon in the upper right - it looks like a chat bubble  
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon just to the right of Conversations
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line - do not use the Employee's name!
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it

I could not find the chat icon either until I posted this thread. It seems like they need to activate something. Hope this helps!

Thnx PDXPKAN. I was finally able to see the icon and submit a direct message a few days ago, but received nothing to indicate the message has been received or will be acted upon. Frustrating!
